Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological condition that is characterized by the irresistible urge to move the legs.

I got an inversion table and it helps my RLS quite a bit. I originally got it for my bad neck (which it also helps) having it help my restless legs was a bonus.
Try putting your legs in the air and maybe have someone pull up on them a little, if it feels better this might help you too.

Restless legs syndrome, or RLS primarily effects legs but can effect other areas of the body too, hence its name RLS. It is an irresistible urge to move legs. I get it in my feet and toes, sometimes my hands. Sodium is notorious for causing it. I'm guessing the salt irritates the nerves in your muscles, causing you to want to move around more. Another reason is dehydration, your body's natural response to keep blood flowing. Caffeine is another major offender.

you will probably need a sleep study to determine if you have RLS. There are several prescription medicines available but only you doctor can make that call.

I hade it both times I was pregnant! You always have to be on the move it drove me crazy. Ask your doctor about what to take, I did not take anything!
