You need to see a doctor because night sweating like that can be a couple of different things and one of them is bad. But it might just be a moderate hormone imbalance, thyroid disorder, or some other systems disorder. Hard to tell with just night sweats. Even at 18 it's very very rare it maybe be early onset menopause, but that is so rare.
Have you been feeling sick for awhile before the night sweats kicked in? Do you have a cough you can't get rid off? Have you ever had unprotected sex, ever??
It could be that you are dreaming so hard that your body is responding to your dream very intensely.
Only an doctor can sort this out for you, but you have to be 100% honest. And no, your mom does not have to be in the room wiith you either. If she insists, tell the staff you don't want her there.
Good luck

If you're under 36 ish, I don't know what it could be. If you're over that age, it sounds like it may be the onset of an early menopause, or pre-menopause. If you're in your late 40's to early 50's, it definitely sounds menopausal. If it continues, and you're really young, I'd go see a doctor. You may be pregnant or something else to do w/ hormones, but don't take any chances, the doctor would know what to check for. Hope all is well with you!

I really don't have an answer for you angela. I have heard that something like that might be TB, but that is only one of the many things it could be. The only thing I can suggest is for you to see the Doc., and please do this. I really like communicating with you and I want to see you do alright. I'll pray for you. Take good care.
