Hi everyone.

My friend has walking problems, he is only 35 and when he walks for long distances he claims that his legs feel heavy and his balance is all off.

He tends to lean to one side like one leg is shorter than the other sometimes.

He has no pain when he walks, it is very strange.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Over a year ago, i found my head was sore and then found lumps forming on it. First on the right side, then on the left… they finally reached each other to form some type of crease all around my head. I found this odd so I got the doctors to check it out and after a CAT Scan and skull x-ray, they found nothing and put it aside. I then also got diagnosed with migraines. After a while, the lumps disappeared on the left, but now they are back and seem to be tender again. Sometimes my migraines seem to be formed within them or right under them. Can someone give their opinion?

last year I had heard about melatonin and cleared it with my doctor, she said I could take 3-6 mg daily to help with sleep. it helped tremendously. then about a month ago another physician who saw on my records that I was taking the melatonin said that the melatonin keeps you from making your own if you take it every day. so I stopped it, but I'm back to having trouble sleeping but I'm getting daily sleep - just not enough. I want to figure out as much as I can before I talk to my doctor again about it. any thoughts will be appreciated.

i'm not sure if its some psychic thing that occurs. i get dizzy when i stand up and the only thing that helps is if i fall straight to the ground and recompose myself. I feel like i'm fainting but i'm not. i just have to lay there and then the dizziness goes away and i can stand up. it feels really weird. i don't know why that happens. can anyone explain?

Has anyone with MS tried taking a cholesterol drug for either trying to help the MS and/or helping high cholesterol? I have heard it is promising in treating MS, and I do have high cholesterol, but my docs say the drugs are poison. Anybody tried it?

Visited doctor today with the said question. It is excrutiating and lasts betwen 5 and perhaps, 30 seconds. Have had this for 2 weeks, at least, with those symptoms. However, I have had "twinges" in my right temple for 6 months (infrequently). I have felt it rushing toward my nose on 3 occassions. I have felt a 'flutter' in my ear twice. My eyes have been tested and the result was "tell your doctor you have the all clear from us". My doctor suggested another eye test, or anemia (I have NO other symptoms) or stress. I have no other stress than day to day having a toddler and have no sudden changes. Any ideas?

Oh, sorry - my blood pressure was, apparently "very normal". Doc checked in my ears and nothing to report.

I've had noise-induced Tinnitus since March. If you know or have yourself experienced the sound suddenly going away, please let me know. I'd also like to hear other peoples experiences with tinnitus, as it can be quite frustrating a lot of times.
