Hi! I have the same thing too. I know how you feel, i've only known about my celiac for almost 2 months. I'm 16 and a freshman in college. I know it can be pretty embarrasing on the days when you're feeling bad, bloated, and like a gassy mess. My guess is that you're probably getting cross contaminated. Have you replaced your cosmetics, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lip gloss, pots, pans, spoons, tupperware, toaster oven, washcloth for kitchen stuff...and the sort? That was a problem with me for a while, but I started feeling better after replacing those items. How long have you been off of gluten? Your stomach won't heal for about a year, and your symptoms will go away after a couple of months. I've only been off for 2 months, and there are days (such as today) that I feel yucky. I keep getting CC (cross contamination). Have you considerd that you might be lactose intolerent too? Some celiacs have problems digesting milk as well in addition to gluten until the gut heals. I have that problem as too. Try getting off of dairy for while & see if you improve. Also, look into the nightshade family (tomatoes, peppers, potatoes). I can't eat potatoes, my body thinks that they're gluten :( Soy, corn, and rice can be other offenders too. Another thing, beware of the foods you are eating. Many foods have things with natural flavorings, colors, and the like. THOSE CAN CONTAIN GLUTEN! Join celiac.com! They have message boards for celiacs, recipies, info, and such. Watch out at resturants and schools too. Most places will coat things in gluten, fry in the same fryer as gluten, or season in gluten. BUY The gluten free bible. You can get it at borders or barns&noble. It will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. Look up a list of gluten foods to aviod and keep it in your purse. Read lables and within doubt call the company. I had a horrible CC w/some of the salt I was using. YES, SALT! lol. Sorry this was so long, but good luck, love. Hope you feel better and don't hesitate to ask any questions :)

Ok, you are not alone. If you go to a health food store, they can tell you about different food products that are targeted for people with celiac disease. I don't have celiac, but I have found some wonderful crackers that the box said were good for people with celiac. You also can find wonderful advice for all kinds of medical conditions on WebMd or the Mayo Clinic site. You might be able to find a book or articles in the library on it, too. The librarian can help you. The really good thing is that now you know what it is, you can start to learn how to avoid things that cause it, which is a whole lot better than when you had no idea. I hope you are being very careful in reading labels and what you eat -- you will be amazed at how many things have gluten in it that you wouldn't think would. Things like soup and candy can have gluten, not just bread and pasta. But there are non-gluten pastas and stuff. There are good alternatives out there, you just have to learn what they are.

First stay away from dairy products. Drink Non-fat milk only. Less Pizza too. Eat a lot of non-complex carbohydrates food - less sugar. Gas is a form of acid that was from soda, alcoholic beverages and some meat. Beef has a lot of acid - count how many of these meat you are eating in a week or in a month. Actually pork and chicken does have a lot of acid too, but beef has the highest number of acid in it. Try to do a regular exercise that will make you bounce. Jumping rope, jogging or running something like that so that your system will make your food to be aligned in your intestines and can be digested evenly,

My husband has the same problem - he runs for 2 hours every other day. You and him are called colic babies when you are just a tot. I was too, but somehow mine disappear as I grow up but I remember that I don/t eat a lot and I was very skinny growing up. i was in a soccer team and I really don't like soda - I can't even drink one fourth of a can of soda. So that means that I didn't consume too much acid from carbonate which is number one ingredients of any soda -can cause ulcer too because it is very strong. Sometimes beans can be number one culprit on gas - and it's smell very bad too, so stay away from that if you will have public appearance - but being a girl you need to eat beans for your heart. Maybe you can substitute tofu instead. Fish is also good. Well, this is pretty long already - good luck.

First of all i want to say I'm sorry your feeling so bad. I was diagnosed 15 months ago with celiac went gf immediately and it took 13 months for my symptoms to finally stop. Make sure if you take lactase that it's in a capsule and not a tablet, it makes a difference. You may have other allergies that are causing your symptoms. I get sick if I eat eggs or if I'm exposed to mold. The latter can make me worse than eating gluten. Hope this helps.Best Wishes.

Celiac disease means the absorptive surface of the small intestine is damaged by gluten. This results in an inability of the body to absorb protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals etc. It is an auto-immune disease, meaning your anti-body attacks your own system (in this case, digestive). There are almost 1% of population in North America having this problem, mostly female.

Female has MC and hormone levels change every month. Most of auto-immune diseases start at very early age. However, there are 2 main reasons -
1) Mal nutrition. Although you say you eat healthy, I think you still need 2 more nutritions badly a) essential fatty acids, particularly ALA (Omega-3) from flax seed oil and GLA (EPO or rosehip oil etc). b) lots of phyto-hormones - isoflavanoids and lignans rich foods.
2) Stress, worrying or sadness. Mental (mind) condition affects digestive-related hromones very much. You need to know how to relax. If you are unhappy or worry, do it for s short time only. You need to recover within 2-3 minutes. When hormones are affected by your stress etc for more than 3 minutes, it will get crazy and start to attack yourself. skin gets attacked (eczema, rosacea), bones/joints too(RA), MS (nerves) and internal organs (SLE) ....

It is not a deadly disease but could be really annoying because you are always short of nutrition and can not have a very normal life, eat whatever you want to eat.

Last but not least, practice one kind of meditation such as Tai chi, Yoga, Qi-gong etc. They can help you to relax and concentrate at the same time. As a result, you gain good alpha-wave in the brain; at the same time your immune system will work better.

Although mendacity in any problem will also be seen as ethically flawed it is usually usual capabilities that telling the truth can create more chaos and potentially grief than a lie. For example, what if anybody was once hit by a car and died instant, then it was once later learned that the person killed was jogging throughout the avenue on account that he had just robbed a store. Would you tell the household that he was once a thief once they thought he was once an innocent character or would you respect his image to the family and tell them that he was without difficulty being careless? I know that is an severe drawback but given this illustration there are also many other circumstances where mendacity can preclude chaos as an alternative than purpose it.

Given that it has started since you have been back at school, the most likely suspect is that you are eating or drinking something that you expect is safe, but actually contains gluten.

What are you eating or drinking that is different to what you have at home????

Drinks are something that can sneak gluten in without you noticing! Especially in colourings.

Even some brands of tea!!!!! (They dust the leaves to stop them sticking, and sometimes they use gluten products to make the tea bags!!!)

Check the tablets you take for your lactose intollerance are gluten free!

Although mendacity in any main issue may also be noticeable as ethically fallacious additionally it is traditional capabilities that telling the reality can create extra chaos and probably grief than a lie. For instance, what if anyone used to be hit through a automobile and died instantaneous, then it used to be later learned that the man or woman killed used to be jogging around the avenue considering he had simply robbed a shop. Would you inform the loved ones that he used to be a thief after they idea he used to be an blameless man or woman or might you appreciate his photo to the loved ones and inform them that he used to be without difficulty being careless? I recognise that is an severe main issue however given this instance there also are many different instances wherein mendacity can avert chaos instead than motive it.

You need to watch EVERYTHING you eat and drink. Some juices can even contain gluten so be sure you check everything you eat. Lots of meds contain gluten in their makeup so talk to your pharmacist about getting a list of meds that contain gluten or don't contain gluten if they can get you one. Consider eating yogurt with live active cultures if you can to keep your digestive flora healthy. You should be bringing your lunch from home at school as many of the things at school could have gluten in them.
