So i'm pretty upset that I don't do well under pressure. If I perform on stage or something, I'll sing still, but my hand will feel cold and curl up... I hardly ever move on stage. If it's a matter of school... If I'm under specific hard time constraints, I never do well, or if I feel pressured to do well in school, I typically don't. Help? What's my problem?

I have a professor who really pushes that the HPV vaccine should be given to men. Her reason are:

Men can get it from women, and it can be spread (by oral sex) to the mouth, larynx, and lungs. The virus may cause warts even if it doesn't lead to cancer -- these may be genital warts or warts of the oral cavity and respiratory track. Unfortunately, the problem of laryngeal, tracheal, and bronchial warts is overlooked due to the focus on cancer, but the effect on the air way can become quite debilitating or life-threatening (often ruining voice and sometimes becoming fatal in the trachea, bronchi, and lungs due to blockage of airflow). Its unknown if it cause repirator cancer, but seen as possibe (since it infects those area). The vaccine is aproved for men.

This all makes sense to me. Also, men who don't become infected can't pass it to women.

Yet its pushed only as womans' vaccine -- any ideas why?

I had chest pain today and eventually went to the hospital. Other symptoms were pain in my upper lefthand back and more pain with movement. I did have a bit of sweating and a heavy feeling when I got up. Symptoms would increase when I exerted myself. They did the normal blood work and my D-dimer test showed a positive, somewhere in the middle is what the nurse said. I had a VQ scan that came back as a low possibility of clot in the lung, but it wasn't negative. Tomorrow I am having a ultrasound on my legs.

If they don't find anything, should they be doing anything else? I've read a little bit about it and it seems like there could a clot from somewhere else possibly, or even another underlying disease.

I can't imagine that this chest pain is just a fluke. This is not something that is common for me. Any help would be appreciated.

When i was little i use to stutter too, after 3 years it went away. Her father still struggles with stuttering. Does that mean there is a chance it will never go away? Is there even something her father can do to stop stuttering? I know what it is like to stutter and I know how cruel some people can be. I just dont want her to go through the same thing.

I have hypothyroidism, lately I am feeling depressed and have had slowly been gaining weight. Trying to lose the weight is becoming more difficult. I read about a product called Alvidar. Has anyone used this and what type of results have you achieved? I am on Synthroid but it seems to not be helping my symptoms even though my blood tests show normal thyroid range. Any comments on what may have worked for you?

Hi,

My ex girl and I recently broke up close to 2 months ago and she already has somebody else (didnt waste time). We messed around 1 time earlier this month (sex) but we didnt use protection. My question is should I trust in what she says, because she always preaches on being health conscious. Should I still get myself checked out to make sure Im "clean" and didnt get anything from her or should I believe in what she says about being healthy and always being aware of all types of diseases out there? I need help on this one Can she be trusted with what she says?

Thanks.

My knees feel really heavy meaning I absolutely cannot stand for long periods of time because it feels like the bones meeting at the knee are just pushing against each other making me fatigue really quickly. For example, waiting in line at Mcdonalds which to most people is a really short wait time, I start to feel the heaviness and the pressure. Thing is I have gone to a orthopedic doctor he took an xray and said there is nothing wrong, but I know my body and I know something is a little off here. Any ideas?

Well a little over a year ago I got this very odd bruise on my leg which to this day is still there, but it also hurts now. Like my calf will get tingly and sometimes its a little hard to walk, or keep my leg in the same position for long periods of time. Ive already been to the doctor because I was afraid it was a blood clot but he said no it wasn't. Does anyone know of what this could be?

I have a rainbow lorikeet who loves sneaking up behind me and sticking his inch-long tongue down my ear. For the last two days, the insides (deep-down) of my ears have been sore. It fluctuates - sometimes it hurts and sometimes it doesn't. Could this be an ear infection caused by my birdie? If so, will it go away on its own? It would be great if somebody could provide a reference.

This has been going on for 10 years but much worse the past 2 years. I know it is allergies, but what in the world will take away the pain? I am going crazy as nothing has worked so far. I found a miracle for Resless Leg Syndrome as Cymbalta took it 100% away! So what is the miracle for burning eyes?
