This happened a few years ago when I was about 19. Clearly if I felt uncomf. there was a problem. But i was just wondering if it is the norm to completly take off alll clothing or not. He just cracked my back into place and stuff like that. Nothing verry serious. Thanks

I'm a chiropractor, in school you disrobe because your just learning to feel with your hands like a blind person and at first it hard to feel through clothes so we start out skin on skin contact. Some chiropractors never get out of that habit because its the way they learn all through school. Most don't because it takes to long and it makes patients uncomfortable. So to answer your question it is not unheard of.

No, that is not normal. I have been under the care of 3 different chiropractors in past 30 years, never had to disrobe.

I never had to take off my clothes. I took off my jacket. I think the chiropractor had something else on his mind.

No, it is not normal to get fully undressed for an adjustment. I am always fully dressed (albeit in loose-fitting clothes).
