Yes, I have fibromyalgia. I started having symptoms when I was in my late 20s (29 to be exact). I had some issues with the flares (biggest sign is that of drowsiness for me) I would get and if I didn't pay attention to that drowsiness after so much time I would start to hurt more. Especially in my abdomen. As soon as I would go to bed and take my naps I would start to feel better.
I was diagnosed officially with fibromyalgia in 2004. I was 32 years old.
If you have other questions for me or just need to talk one on one feel free to e-mail or IM me off site any time.

I also was diagnosed with FMS at about 24 years of age. I can tell you that I recall the pain being on one side of my body and then moving to my entire body. It sometimes felt like someone was cutting my back with a blade. It was really rough until I was given pain meds to assist with the horrible pain. I hope that's not what you have. It doesn't go away and only has progressed for me. I'm 34 now. Good Luck.

It hit me when I was 24- the worst thing I remember was intense lower back pain. It felt like someone was kicking me in the back with every step I took. There were a lot of problems with my hands then too. 20 years later and the pain is everywhere now, but at least its been diagnosed and I have pain meds to keep me from screaming. side note- My 25 yr old son was recently diagnosed with the same condition.
