I thought my migranes were getting better because I visited a neurosurgeon and he put me on Topomax, but my migranes have started to come back, and i've been having headaches daily now and i'm worried that they will get worse. I'm starting to think I should get a second opinion, but MRI's are expensive and I don't really want to pay for another one and have them say oh, it's nothing to worry about. What should I do? Thanks!!

I have been diagnosed with IBS today, but I don't really know what it means! Of course I understand the medical side, but I don't really understand how it is going to affect my life if at all.

I have always been incredibly regular, but this changed after visiting Cambodia (3 months ago). My doctor has checked for parasites etc and has made the diagnosis of IBS. He thinks the travellers diahorea I experienced on holiday has brought to light my IBS. My boyfriend is really pleased that I don't have parasites. He said having parasites would be serious but that IBS isn't.

I am really confused though! I am currently living in Japan and have a doctor who doesn't know me.The information I have on the internet says I should change my diet. However, one website says eat insoluble fibre but another say eat soluble fibre! All I know is that I have lost weight, feel tired and am spotty.

I have found the IBS Network but instead of making me feel better I now want to cry!

Please help!

My problems started about 2 months ago when i woke up and every joint in my body was swollen, from my feet all the way to my jaw. Went to the doc they said it was viral, gave me tamiflu sent me home. the swelling lasted about a week then went away but it seems like it all settled in my shoulders and shoulder blade area. I have never experienced this much pain in my shoulders before.I have never had any episode like this before, my joints other than my shoulders do not hurt at all. I have no rashes, no bumps anywhere. The doc's ran blood tests and told me I tested positive for rheumatoid factor. It seems to me they are guessing what is wrong with me because they keep putting me on different meds such as prednisone and etodolac along with vicodin for pain. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Teabags !!! Did you also know that there has been a proven link between IBS symptoms and fluoride?? Yikes !! Have a guess what the early warning signs of fluoride toxicity are ?? Yep, gut pain, bloating and cramping, nausea, flatulence, constipation and intermittent diahorrea. Here's the link:-

http://www.fluoridealert.org

Crikey !! They are saying that ingested fluoride is transformed in the stomach to form hydrofluoric acid, which has a corrosive effect on the epithelial lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Thirst, headaches, abdominal pain, vomiting and diahhorrea are usual symptoms !! Haemmorrhage in the gastric mucosa and ulceration erosions and edema are common signs of fluoride toxicity !! The source?? Environmental Protection Authority 1999 - Recognition and Management of Pesticide Poisonings ....................... Hang on, just gotta get back up off the floor here. Is this saying that they know that fluoride causes severe gastrointestinal problems???..:0)

I have used cocaine on and off again for a year and a half. Sometimes I would do huge amounts and sometimes I would have it sitting in the house and I wouldn't touch it. Does this mean I'm addicted to coke?

Do they use anal thermometers on hospitalised patients in India who are undergoing or have undergone surgery (I'm talking about lower let surgery here)?

I had seen a man being given an anal thermometer while I took my sister to the hospital.

What's the best and fastest cure?

I heard meds tend to mess your stomach up and makes it create more acid to replace the stuff taken away by the pill in the first place, so when you're not taking meds for it, your heartburn's worse. hmm.

Ok for three weeks now I have experienced pain in my right knee and the right side of my hip(But I don't think that has anything to do with the knee right now)

Anyways, I thought it was all better yesterday afternoon but it came back again, only worse and I just noticed that now when I move my legs when i'm sitting down I hear a rubbing noise with my knee, but it sometimes happens and sometimes it doesn't but the pain is still there no matter what.

I didn't fall on it either. When I noticed it I heard a cracking noice in my knee like when you crack you knuckles and that was it it didn't happen again but the random rubbing noise was still there and the pain.

What can be wrong? Should I really see a doctor? Because we are abit tight on money and i'm going to feel stupid if it's something simple.
