Ok for three weeks now I have experienced pain in my right knee and the right side of my hip(But I don't think that has anything to do with the knee right now)

Anyways, I thought it was all better yesterday afternoon but it came back again, only worse and I just noticed that now when I move my legs when i'm sitting down I hear a rubbing noise with my knee, but it sometimes happens and sometimes it doesn't but the pain is still there no matter what.

I didn't fall on it either. When I noticed it I heard a cracking noice in my knee like when you crack you knuckles and that was it it didn't happen again but the random rubbing noise was still there and the pain.

What can be wrong? Should I really see a doctor? Because we are abit tight on money and i'm going to feel stupid if it's something simple.

This warrants at least an exam to determine if imaging like a plain film X-ray or maybe even an MRI to determine the cause of your pain.

I have performed football my complete existence and I had this certain drawback. You are wise. The knee has a surprise soaking up cartilage pad known as the meniscus. This is with ease torn from a twist as you describe. I had surgical procedure on mine while I was once 18. It is far greater now and does not hassle me. I have additionally had the equal drawback a couple of different instances and healed it with out surgical procedure. Here's what you do. a million. Don't transfer or motive affliction to your knee for a couple of days. Rest your knee in a moderately flexed function (bent approximately 30 levels). You can simply relaxation a pillow beneath it or lye to your facet. This function takes anxiety out of the knee joint and relaxes the constructions. After a couple of days of taking it rather convenient and resting plenty in those positions, steadily and slowly begin strolling/ walking once more. It may be very foremost to relaxation a minimum of two-five days. Do no longer motive any affliction/ strain to the subject. Try to slowly get your force/ health again via doing mild squats/ walking. If all goes good GREAT! If no longer, see a exercises damage expert. He will do a designated scan to your knee when you inform him you suppose you harm your meniscus. The secret is to take stress off the subject to start with considering the fact that that constitution is a stress soaking up pad. It demands vitamins from the fluid to your knee to heal. The meniscus has a deficient blood deliver so it's probably that the frame is not going to heal it competently. In that case you'll must get a surgical procedure. Basically they simply positioned a couple of small holes and positioned you to sleep. They do away with the broken facet that's jamming your knee. You get better over a month or two and your knee works like new. It is an excessively natural trouble and I recollect having it. I attempted to go back too speedily and I stored hurting it. Just STAY OFF IT a couple of days and your frame WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. Don't make the error I made and be impatient considering the fact that you'll harm it extra. If you dont see benefit in a month, you can also wish to don't forget the surgical procedure it is extremely practical. But at your age your frame continues to be forming and it is extremely robust at therapy. Good good fortune to you.

Ok, I don't know what it is, but this is a guess. I have a condition called hypermobility. My joints move out of place and my knees hurt a lot. Now, my knees make a popping sound on a regular basis. Perhaps that could be your problem. But hypermobility is accompanied by other symptoms such as fatigue. Below I've included a website in case you want to read a little about it. I would go to the doctor so you can get the correct diagnosis though.
