All day today i had a headache and felt pressure in my head. I also felt discomfort in my stomach. I felt like I ate a log and it hurt really bad. I slept through most of the day because I lost my appetite so I was preety hungry and didn't have energy for anything. I try not to take painkillers of any kind, but I just coudln't take the pain naymore. So after drinking some tea and eating some fruit I took an Ibuprofen. That was around 5pm. Aroung 7 pm I felt a lot better. All the pain went away. Then I felt a tingling sensation on my upper lip. It was getting bigger(I already have full lips so it doesn't look right).Thrity minutes later I was taking a shower when I felt a bump on my bottom lip.The right side of my bottom lip was also enlarging. Now the right side of my toungue is also enlarging. What is wrong with me.I have school tomorrow, but my parents are telling me to see my doctor instead, but he won't take me without an appoitment. What do I do?I'm not alergic2ibuprofen.

we have tried SEVERAL options to cure the symptoms of diarreaha, vomiting, and pain, (minus fever) i knew it wasnt a cold...than a friend suggested lactoce intloerance. i omitted dairy prodcuts (cheese, yogurt, milk) from her diet for 24 hrs, no problems, than gave her a bowl of cereal wich almost immediatly turned into pain. so i purchased an over the counter medicine for children with lactose intolerance and she was able to drink milk all week with out pain...i was so excited to find relief for her. until today she has started to complained about pain, even with out eating dairy and while taking the pill. i'm worried that some damage could have been done to her stomach through this whole ordeal...is that possible? or could it be she just caught a stomach flu thats going around.

Where on the net might I find details or someone who would be willing to donate a kidney for my friend. I know it is illegal to pay for one but she is more than ready to do so. Thanks in advance.

I can already see all the people who are going to say: asthma is not curable it is only controlable, that's what my doctor said, that's what the t.v. said, that's what other people say sorry!

I can only imagine all the funny, funny answers I am going to get!
If that is what you all think then that is all you will get, nothing!

There has got to be one person out there that believes asthma and allergies are curable! All autoimmune disease is curable.
Not just controlable like all these nimwits believe.
Waiting for a majic bullet? Sorry you will not find that here. There is a way though, do you dare to do it?
I did not think so!
I had allergic asthma for 3 years and it is gone! Never to come back.
No i am not talking about surgery, that does not help, I am not talking about getting you sinus burnt out dummy!

There it is: What do you think about it?
Even more, what are you going to do about it?
Probably nothing, your doctor is probably right anyway. Good luck
Doctors are always right!

I am a 30 Y.O. male. I usually wake up with a serious urge to go to the bathroom. After I go, it usually returns about ten minutes later. I frequently end up going about 3 - 5 times a day. Especially after a meal. If I go out to eat, I have to make sure I am near a restroom for about an hour afterwards just incase. About 3-4 days a week, my movements are loose. About 1 or 2 days, I am constipated, and about 1 or 2, I am normal. My urges come on suddenly, almost colic-like. I have to strain frequently. Occasionally, during a movement, I have felt my abdomen go into a painful, dizzying spasm, almost like I am going to faint off the toilet. I have woken up on occasion with a slight nausea that leaves after 30 minutes. After a really bad day, I will feel physically drained.

A friend of mine has lost 54 pounds in 4 months following the PWLC diet, and suddenly last week I had to take her to the ER with a terrible abdominal pain and she spent 6 days in the hospital for swollen pancreas and gallbladder stones, and doctors said that it could be related to the suddenly loss of weight.
So please if there anyone who has or have heard a similar case?
Thanks very much.

OK, this is my gross problem:

For several years now I've had a condition in the skin of my ear canal. Basically, it itches inside and when I stick my finger in and scratch it, there is a smell to the earwax (sort of yeasty and sour). I've been through a few rounds of steroid/antibiotic ear drops and an otolaryngologist said he didn't see anything wrong with my ear canal. He also said there was no such thing as a yeast infection in the ear. I also cleaned it frequently for a while with hydrocortisone and a bulb, so it's not an earwax issue. I deal with it now, about once every 2 weeks, by sticking a q-tip coated with hydrocortisone in there. It calms the itch and the smell. It feels inflamed in there sometimes, and I can tell because the q-tip hurts the walls of the canal. Sometimes earwax comes out, but nothing odd.

Does anyone know what could be happening, and what I can do about it?

What if somenoe get's knocked out by a blow to the head and you check to see if they're still breathing and they are. Can you move them? Obviously you call 911 too but I mean in the mean time while you're waiting for 911.
