Has anyone had a really bad case of this and had surgery? If so, when did you feel better, and what are some treatments you did to feel better?

I had a bad case of it and had a tough time because I was an aerobics instructor and runner. I switched from running/exercising on hard surfaces and began wearing cushioned, softer shoes. Even if you are not an athlete, try softer, more cushioned shoes. I did not have surgery and planned on that as a last resort. It cleared up with in days of switching shoes and softer surfaces. Pain relievers helped with pain. Good luck, I know it can be painful.

Had this-it was VERY painful! I had surgery and was in alot of pain after. It will make you wear shoes forever after! It took several weeks before I was up and about fully. It really depends on how deep the plantar wart is as to how long it will take to recover.
