Did anyone ever have an ear infection? Can you please tell me the signs of an ear infection and how long it takes to treat it and with what? Would you know any home remedies?

Well, alot of sinus infections. I had 3 sinus infections in the winter two years ago, was diagnosed with mono, got better, got two sinus infections last winter, and I'm on my second this winter. Is there anything I can do? I'm on Amoxil but it's not working as well as it should. I just want them to stop.

Good afternoon, all.

When I was younger (in my teens), I used to go to concerts and shows all the time. They were often incredibly loud (which was great, I'm not complaining). I would sometimes wake up the next morning with my ears "ringing" but I didn't care because I was just an idiot kid, and it would usually go away by the second day thereafter. At its worst, I would have some residual effects by the end of the 2nd day after, but never by the third.

I'm now 27. I went to a show this past Friday, and was right near the speaker. When I went to bed later Friday night, and woke up Sat morning, my left ear was ringing terribly, and I couldn't hear out of it very well. Unlike 10 years ago, it hasn't seemed to get better quickly - now 3 days later, it's still sort of buzzing out of that ear.

Anyone with medical knowledge want to hazard a guess as to whether this will get better? If so, how long will it take? And is there anything I can do about it?

Is there anything you can do to get rid of it? It's annoying having to get up to spit it out, but swallowing too much makes you feel sick.

My daughter is nearly 2. I have always been concerned about her speech because she is still not saying much, but I was told not to worry about it by everyone that I talked to. My sister-in-law is autistic and as a part of some information I was reading about autism that she had I found that my daughter had almost all of the early signs of autism and when I took several quizzes online about it, they all told me to talk to my doctor. When I asked my doctor about it he said that because she makes eye contact and gives kisses that she is not autistic. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about autism and could tell me if eye contact and kisses definately rule it out. I'm sure I'm probably just overreacting and have worried myself over nothing, but I need validation.

I had mine replaced in 1997 and it seems to be fine but I know they only have a certain life before needing replacement again.

My 2 girls (ages 3 and 1) have been sick for about a week now. They just have a wet cough and runny nose, but are not 'acting' sick and have no fever. A few days ago (Friday), I started to feel like I was getting sick too b/c I felt a little sinus pressure and a had that sick taste in my mouth. Also my stomach was upset. That night, I couldn't sleep and was feeling nauseous. I was extremely dizzy and sweaty and my hands and feet were numb and tingling for about ten minutes. I felt like I was going to throw up, but didn't. Since then I've had intense waves of nausea that come and go. Today the nausea hasn't been too bad, but I feel achey and my head is stuffy. It doesn't seem like I have what my kids have.....what does it sound like to you?

I was recently diagnosed with having anxiety/panic attacks. My doctor has prescribed me xanax, which I have been taking everyday for a month. Are there any vitamins or natural ingredient products that I can take because I don't want to be on xanax longterm. I plan on seeing my Doctor again pretty soon, and I want to ask him about some alternatives. So if anyone has had a similar problem can you please give me some advice so that I can talk to my Doctor about it? Thanks.

i wen t to the doctor with bck pain, just so he could give me some painkillers, he said that he has found a lump in my back, and that my kidney is very enlarged, should i be worried? he says he thinks it could be a cyst, but hes not sure, and now i have to wait to go to hospital.

im confused as i thought my kidneys were in tip top condition as i am not a drinker, or does drinking have nothing to do with it

what should i expect at the hospital and should i be worried, im only nearly 19.

thanks
