I've checked around and really couldn't find much except hernias and scars from piercings, and pregnancy involving belly buttons, so not sure where to send you.
I've never heard of that after a fasting, but I'd keep an eye on it.
you don't say if it hurts or not if you did the fasting just because that's what you would normally do.
But keep checking around the net and look in health books under symptoms and good luck.

Cullen's sign is bruising around the belly button. It can be a sign of bleeding internally, such as from trauma or a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, or from pancreatitis. I don't know if your fast would have caused it. If you were fasting because you were having abdominal pain, though, then that could be the link.

If you don't want me to tell you to see a doctor, I won't, but you might want to look into Cullen's sign and then decide for yourself if you might have any of the serious conditions that can cause it. I hope it is none of those things.

hey, i dont think it is necessarily because of your famine. i went a week of fasting and nothing like that happened, but depends on your weight already and how healthy you are it couldve been more hazardous to you.

I would just recommend not going on another famine for a while and eat healthily and hopefully it will go away.

I don't know what it is, but there are some nutritional healing books that would have symptoms listed then it would tell you whats wrong.
