A friend of mine has lost 54 pounds in 4 months following the PWLC diet, and suddenly last week I had to take her to the ER with a terrible abdominal pain and she spent 6 days in the hospital for swollen pancreas and gallbladder stones, and doctors said that it could be related to the suddenly loss of weight.
So please if there anyone who has or have heard a similar case?
Thanks very much.

Any time you start fooling with mother nature you are apt to get in trouble. Too much fatty food can block the ducts from the gallbladder to liver with gall stones (hardened cholesterol) and you can also get this same condition from drinking too little liquid. People who try to lose too much weight at one time often have this problem. 54 pounds in 4 months is ridiculous. Your friend didn't gain that much in 4 months. 2 to 3 pounds per month is healthy amount to lose.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
