My hands and feet are always cold and sometimes becomes numb. Sometimes the coldness stops or alternates between hands/feet. This happens even in warm weather, just to clarify.

I had positive ANA tests as a teenager, and the doctor blew them off as being related to my early onset hypothyroidism. Now I have the butterfly rash, chronic fatigue, I'm sick at least half of the year, and no one seems to have any answers. Does anyone have lupus? If so, how were you diagnosed? How was it distinguished when all of my symptoms seem so ambiguous?

Lives at home, nursing home level care, dementia, urine soaked constantly. Why not? Let's here the pros and cons. I am ready to order it tomorrow. She has lost most all her dignity, I hate to see bed sores, I bathe her daily, care for her hourly, but the urine!! Have tried treating for spasms, dibetic insipidus, movement disorders, infections. It is how it is. Lots of urine. No nursing home for her.

Hello, I recently applied for life insurance and was told I had elevated liver function readings:
Bili 1.7 (0.2-1.5 norm)
AST 70 (0-33 norm)
ALT 54 (45 norm)
GGTP 284 (0-65 norm)
HAA 10.9 norm (<10.5 norm)
Yes, I've been drinking too much lately...been out of work for six months..fortunately I just found a job but what a price to pay if I killed my liver. I Now I DID drink quite a bit the night before I had the test and I've read somewhere that that could really raise the levels.
I had had blood work done by my rheumatologist a month ago and thought all was fine since I hadn't heard back but called today and was told those numbers were high too (wonder when they were going to tell me...it's my life here....), again, I had been drinking the night before...

So they are probably going to want to do more tests...I've been having trouble nailing them down on when and what but...
Anyway...any suggestions on what I can do besides pray?

infection. she says my lower back pain has been due to kidney inection or urinary tract infection cuz my urine sample shows white cells, whatever that means and blood in my urine. i told her my merioed is due in a week, she said its too soon to be your period, nor your back assault at work, then i asked her if its not back pain could it me occuring simultaeously with back pain cuz my hamstrings, and glutts hurt too, as well as my upper back and lower since my injury.

i use to weigh 120lbs at 54"...now that im fat and getting married im stressed and need to lose weight. i dont have much time for the gym,

at home by myself. i am a highschool coach andcome from a small town. i will not go to a treatment center because of privacy concerns. i will go if i can not beat this on my own. i have a doctor helping me try to get through the withdrawal process. he gave me zanax0.25mg. and told me to take as needed to help me relax and try to sleep as much as possible. i have taken 2 every 4 hours with no relief. how many of this dose can you take and still be safe. please help. thanks

lets say, you have AIDS(or any other life threatining disease...i'm no expert just pretend you have one) and you are certain you will be dead within days/weeks and it's painful, or unpleasent to stay in a hosspital until you die. Would lethal injection be a choice for someone like that. In my opinion i'd much rather die and get it over with than be depressed or in pain for days. Let me know if that's even possible, or if you'd consider doing it.

About a month ago i went to the hospital because i was complaining of pressure pain in my pelvic area (i.e. the uterus, lower stomach) and they did a CT scan and noticed clear pelvic fluid and decided it was from a cyst that had ruptured. I then went to my gyno on wednesday and he did my pelvic exam and noticed I had blood at the top of my uterus and I actually started my period 3 hours later but he wanted to do an ultrasound on me a week after i started my period to see my ovaries when they r most enlarged to see if im prone to cysts. The period I had was so bad like I had really bad cramping and the period ended today im pretty sure and I still feel like bloated out like pressure is just sitting there in my pelvic area/lower abdomen. i also feel like im having cramping around that area almost like menstrual cramping at some little times. I also feel like there is a puffiness feeling in the area below my stomach. Could this mean I may have another cyst?

Bacteria - rare
Amorphouse - occasional

and then at the end it says...
10,000-49,000 cfu/ml mixed gram positive growth, probably contaminants

I am 34 and had a stressfull holiday in which I would wake up with blurred vision in one eye only. This happened to me after my 3rd child was born so I blew it off as tired eyes. It will go away and come back throughout the day. Eye Dr said astigmatism and still 20/20.I also have been having slight tingling in the bottom of my left foot and sometimes back of my thigh. I had an MRI on my back for a pinched nerve/slipped disc but negative. The thing that freaked me out is that I just had a 2nd episode of vertigo. Once in Nov. out of the blue which my Dr, said ..freak thing if it doesn't come back in a day you may never get it again. It came back last week awful!!. Everything is mild. The vertigo both time lasted 3-4 hrs. I think the numbness stops when I'm off my feet. I'm going to see ENT about inner ear and a physical therapist for numbness. I think that is all weird coincedences. It's just each DR. has individually said something about MS. Should I see a neurologist?

my mom in law is moving in due to her alzheimers decease and although I love her dearly I am scare of not knowing a thing aabout her health problems, what is worst is that I dont know what to do with her diabetic meds, she uses insulin, I HATE needles but I must get over this issue beacause my hubby is no help in this situation. please someone guide me and support me, I am totally lost in here.I dont know what to do.I cannot afford a nurse and will need to balance a full time job with the knowledge that now I have someone else who will depend on us in every thing. I dont mind at all, I am just scare.

What if a person has a specific way they want their mind to work? I know this sounds like science-fiction stuff, but has anyone heard anything that has to do with people in the future producing methods to program the brain to fit a mode of brain function either by injecting a gene variance that sets this program in motion or wiping your brain clean and then uploading a new version of your brain/mind that fits your preferences. Basically, like plastic surgery for the mind.

from time to time i have nausia it might happen 2 times a day or more or sometimes i dont have them at all maybe for a day or two. i also have like a pressure under my sternum on the upper part of my stomach when i have this nausia and sometimes i can feel cramps and my stomach gurgles and i can feel it passing through my lower intestine.
