have you talked to a doctor about this? If not you may want to go in and have a full screening done, and ask the Dr. to test for diabeties. In the mean time you can take some cold cream ( like for a face) and put a 1/2 teaspoon of ground red pepper in it and rub it into your feet at night and put socks on. It helps promote circulation. * use gloves or a disposable paint brush to apply! the pepper will burn if got into the eyes!

usually your not getting good circulation when they become cold and numb. What color are you finger nails? Are they pink? Are you having any other problems? like maybe a swollen ankle? or persistant coughing? shortness of breath? You might have that checked out because your heart may not be pumping enough blood to the rest of your body.

It sounds like you may have Raynaud's Phenomenon. It is caused when the vessels in your feet and hands constrict. Cold weather and stress can bring on attacks. Wear gloves and thick socks when outside in cold weather. Smoking may also make it worse. You should see your doctor just in case. Raynaud's is frequently seen in people with lupus or other connective tissue diseases.

Sounds like poor ciruculation. Mention this the next time you are in the docs office but unless the doc wants to try meds for your circulation there isn't much you can do except to keep your extremities warm.

Do you notice any other oddities, like thirsty, frequent urination? Diabetes can cause coldness and numb, tingling sensations in the hands and feet.
