What if a person has a specific way they want their mind to work? I know this sounds like science-fiction stuff, but has anyone heard anything that has to do with people in the future producing methods to program the brain to fit a mode of brain function either by injecting a gene variance that sets this program in motion or wiping your brain clean and then uploading a new version of your brain/mind that fits your preferences. Basically, like plastic surgery for the mind.

Stephen King has a book out called "Cell" where this pulse zaps everyone on a cell phone at one time. It basically did what you're suggesting - wiped the people's minds clean, then started reprogramming. Pretty scary thought if that could really happen. I personally wouldn't want anyone messing around in what little brain I have left. ;-)
