you need to see your family MD to rule out any serious medical problems.
Some of the causes of swollen glands in the neck, are poor dentation, sinus infection, ear infection, bad tonsils, but again u need to see a doctor, to find out the cause.
The glands enlarge to allow the white blood cells, your body self defense, to flood the area of infection.
Swollen neck glands, usually indicate infection in the head, like I previously mentioned

So many things from an injury, to a cold, to the flu, to the mumps, to an infection , to cancer
But usually not a big deal. As is with anything, if it persits for more than a few days or returns many times, you really should see a Dr.

Nah, your lymphnodes are in your neck...It's probably a general increase in your body's immune response. You're trying to fight off something. If they STAY swollen for more than a few days...then go see somebody.

the glands are lymphatic glands and they usually swell when your body is fighting infection. like when your sick. thats why when you go to the doctor they feel your glands under your chin and along your neck as those are the ones to usually swell when you are sick.
