I'm working on a story just for a hobby and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a particular condition that could leave a person with very dim vision (not necessarily tunnel vision) but they could still see a bright light? I'm thinking more of an accident or a harmful drug rather than a disease, but anything is fine. Or maybe there isn't any specific condition and it could just be how it turned out for the character. Either way, Let me know.

the doctors say that she isn't a good candiate for surgery d/t her age. they are basically recommending keeping her comfortable untill she dies. i am having a hard time believing this, because she seems to be getting better after she was admitted to the hospital. everything that i have looked up reguarding this conditions states that she would have a large amt of blood with BM's, but I have seen no blood at all. they have her on antibiotics and have mentioned trying coumadin on her.

to a month has been diagnosed with anemia. Possibly due to severe nosebleeds. His hemogloban level has dropped to 8 or 9 .He has been running a fever on and off , along bouts of dirreah. We have taken him to the emergency room a couple of times in the past month , besides trips to the Doctor. He was supposed to be admitted ,because his hemagloban level was low ,but he was sent home. The doctor at the hospital prescribed ferrous sulfate for him to take, but told me to wait 2 days ,because he was diagnosed with an infection ,but they can 't say what kind, because they don't know what type of infection it is .Finally , after a month ,a smear test has been done with 4 different vials , so they can finally see what type of infection it is before they can prescribe him something. In the interim of things ,my child has lost atotal of 24 pounds, of which he has gained a pound and half , since he has started to eat again. Some of the symptoms have subsided , We NEED HELP! PLEASE !

I'm not sure if this is correct but I think is something like "Potters Willi" not sure but it's close. It has to do with not being able to realize that your stomach is full because your brain can't pick up the signal. This is a true situation for some. I'm asking this because my dog is obese and the vet suggested this could be the case. He will eat until he pops. He even eats the toilet paper on the roll.

My blood work has come again and again (being this my sixth blood work) with this result : Recurring leukocytosis and elevated neutrophils the nurse finally called and they have refered me to an hematology/oncology specialist....although that is great news I am going to be seen by a specialist yippiiii but my most concern was never answerd by my doctor....i did in fact asked her upfront if It was a possibility for me to have developed leukemia. Due to the fact that it has been close to my family (my aunt) and i happen to know the blood is similar results to mine but I wanted to know. Never answer. Instead im called with this result and a phone number to call....which of course i am because the sooner the better. But can anybody please explain to me what this means?..thanks soooo much!!
