We can transmit just about everything over the internet to the point where we expect a live response. So, why not a cold or flu virus. The virus would go to your finger tips onto the keys of the keyboard and as you type, the germs are transmitted at the same time. You pick them up when you access your keys after logging in to the website, like you are doing now.. Is this possible?

Every time I've had the flu in the past, I've gotten it only once in a year, and normally it's in late winter. When I've had the flu in the past, it's been so severe I've had to go to the hospital.
This year, I am just now recovering from the flu... I did not have to go to the hospital... it seems the same as in years past, just not nearly as bad. Also, it's really early in the season for me to get the flu. Do you think that I can get it again this winter?
I'm worried because it really affects my ability to work (because I work with infants and children). Thanks in advance for any help or knowledge you have!

I was bitten by a tick in Mississippi in '05. The doctors said that the test showed lyme, but then again they said I didn't have it because ticks are not in the southern states. I have had meningitis, fatigue, eye twitching, (not palsy). Now I have developed pain in my joints. The worst ones being my ankes and my hands. Both ankles, both hands. What do I do. Because the doctors are saying they don't know what is wrong with me.

I found a new roomate & its been 3 days living with him. He has foam from his mouth & stairs at the TV like he is in space. He is also acting very angry all the time. Throwing items & yelling nonsense. I posted a add needing a roomate & this is what I get? Could this be an infected man with rabbies?
Please Im very worried & scared to ask him about the foaming mouth.

I have a common cold (runny nose, headaches the usual) and last night my nan came round for dinner. She left early saying she felt ill and later called to say she was violently sick all night. My two younger cousins (14 and 8) also had this bug the day before when they had visited her. Is it possible fro me to catch it from her whilst i still have a cold and what are the chances?

What are the usual things that happen when you have strep? What happens if you can't afford medicine? Does it go away? Should you cough up bloody sputum?

Just a quick background summary:
I have a pretty serious infection from lap band surgery in 06 that was diagnosed as pseudomonas. It has caused the tubing of the band to actually protrude through my stomach leaving a draining wound. My surgeon has attempted going in, cleaning it out, and burying the band, but the infection continues to find the path of least resistance and reopen the wound. I've been on oral antibiotics, and was hospitalized for a week to receive IV antibiotics, which did not help.

My question is, how long can I live w/ this infection? I know it's not something that's going to go away on it's own, but it won't kill me.... will it? I guess I'm wondering how worried I need to be.

I think he had a flu because he didnt have THAT much. I thought i might have caght it because i was sitting beside him all day. Now the fact that it was 4 days ago takes away my worries because flus dont take 4 days to affect me. Because tonight i just started having diarrhea. (BTW im emetophobic T_T) and uhh im scared i caught something and im having major gas. Im afraid to go to bed because i think i will wake up puking. AM i just freaking out?

So my doctor called me today and said the blood test I took a week ago came up positive. He said I have a minor staph infection, he didn't even want me to schedule an appointment or take any antibiotics, I guess because it's so minor. My question is, are there any good home remedies to get it out of my system so it doesn't strengthen?

I burnt two of my finger tips on an oven rack at a college then had to work out in very cold weather. In a day or two they began to swell and get a little white milky puss in them.the one finger tip went down and looks normal just a little pink. The other is still a little swollen with a small opening.Ive just come down with flu like symptoms strep throat weakness and aching in my joints and body. Its been almost a month since I burnt my tips and my flu like symptoms have started on Saturday does it sound likely that i might have MRSA.Please answer if you truly think you have knowledge insight.

I just feel that my body's hot.Yet the thermometer shows the normal temperature. The most it goes during the day is 98.7 or 98.8.Yet I feel that I have fever. This problem started after I recovered from viral fever(which I suffered for a month).I was feeling feverish and weak a month after that too.3 months later I was feeling fine until this problem cropped up again when I visited a friend who had a bad cold.
What has happened to me?Is it possible that I have cold without the runny noses and headaches?

I have a question, does anyone know where Deer mice are located? I hear they're mostly in California or Mexico. I was visiting relatives in Wisconsin, and they had a slight mouse problem.

Because fo a cat and 2 dogs, they use poison in the basement and live traps where the pets are. They sealed up the area they thought the mouse was coming from,

yet they caught 4 mice in all in the live traps which I released since I'm not skiddish. But I know deer mice can carry diseases, one deadly disease called Hanta virus.

now I'm probably sick with the flu, but a day or 2 after trapping the mice at my uncle's I'm sick. And I've been sick now for 5, going on 6 days.

normal house mice don't carry the virus. Its mostly found in Deer mice, so I want to know if deer mice are in Wisconsin, just for my peice of mind. ^_^ here are pics of the mouse.
