Can i get two bugs at once?

Question

I have a common cold (runny nose, headaches the usual) and last night my nan came round for dinner. She left early saying she felt ill and later called to say she was violently sick all night. My two younger cousins (14 and 8) also had this bug the day before when they had visited her. Is it possible fro me to catch it from her whilst i still have a cold and what are the chances?

actually a pretty good chance because your immune system is already compromised.

It is definitely possible and likely in winter months with all the closed spaces.
