We can transmit just about everything over the internet to the point where we expect a live response. So, why not a cold or flu virus. The virus would go to your finger tips onto the keys of the keyboard and as you type, the germs are transmitted at the same time. You pick them up when you access your keys after logging in to the website, like you are doing now.. Is this possible?

no. the only way you would get sick by getting on a computer is if the person like sneezed all over the keyboard before you used the same computer.

Interesting question, tho.

That is a very silly question. I hope you're blushing.

There was one company reported on an IT website that was so frightened of their brand new Dell computers catching a virus that they refused to plug any of their computers into their own company network.

Which was the only thing they wanted to connect it to. That's right ~ they had no internet connection whatsoever, and had no plans to get one.

Their IT manager was finally convinced that it was perfectly safe to connect their computers to the company network, but only after a very long discussion with the Dell support department.

Congrats! I think this is the stupidest thing (next to, what is a bowel movement?) I have ever seen on yahoo/answers.

Consider adopting kids.

you have a rather silly notion of what viruses are capable of, not to mention what the internet or your computer are capable of.
