I was all prepared to get a flu shot yesterday, but kind of weirded out when I spoke with other girls on the medical staff where I work who all ended up with a big red bump on their arm from the shot. Not just one, but all of them.
Anyone else get a raised red bump?

My friend says if you are too clean then your body loses resistance to bugs and infection it could fight off. He thinks a little dirt is good for us. Does this make sense to you or is he crazy?
He thinks its funny that his grandson drops food on the garage floor then eats it.

I mean, a disease cant just be made right? for example, HIV came to exist because everyone was doing it and they didn't protect them selves. So, how did this one came to be? and what does it have that its not vulnerable to medicine? Was it made BY a medicine of some sort?

I'm just curious.

I'm not convinced it will prevent me from getting the flu. I hear the vaccine uses the previous year's flu but each year the virus changes so what good is it? Also hear of people getting sick after getting the shot too. What do you think?
