I was all prepared to get a flu shot yesterday, but kind of weirded out when I spoke with other girls on the medical staff where I work who all ended up with a big red bump on their arm from the shot. Not just one, but all of them.
Anyone else get a raised red bump?

I got mine on Saturday. I didn't get a red bump but my arm was really sore for several days. I get them every year and of course your arm gets sore but not like this. I'm better now though. :) She must've hit a soft spot!

This is not unusual to get a raised red bump after a flu shot. It is a mild reaction to the shot.

Nah, I never really have gotten anything worth noticing, but it would be a very normal reaction from getting any kind of shot.

Not a reason to avoid getting it, that's for sure!
