Can a person have meningitis and not present with a stiff neck? My friend has nausea, vomiting, swollen neck lymph nodes (about the size of golf balls), and will spike a fever about 3 times a day. She has gone to the doctor several times and tested negative for flu, strep, and mono. Any other ideas?!? She is really sick and when she spikes a fever her heart and respiratory rates skyrocket. And she has had it for about a 5 days.

Yesterday I saw that there is peanut butter contaminated with salmonella and I had that lot #in the kitchen mostly gone,, could that have been causing my imune system to break down and give me soo many colds the past couple months???

How long after someone gets the flu and is "feeling better" can someone visit them without risk of getting it themselves? How long is a good time to wait, even if they say they feel better?

We have two jars of peanut butter with the bar code 2111, one being almost empty because we made peanut butter cookies with it. Should we simply throw it away or should it be tested? We all have had flu like symptoms in the last several weeks, but the flu is going around. Any advice?

Can I get antibiotics that my doctor has previously prescribed to me without going to see him. When I get the flu, he always gives me the same thing but I don't remember the name of that medicine. So If I know what he's going to give me why not just go to the pharmacy and get what I need. You think the pharmacist will let me? I know, I need to find out the name of the medicine first, maybe I can just call my doctor if thats possible.

My girlfriend and i both got sick from that peanut butter, as well as we believe my g/f's sisters lil' girl did as well. We still have the jar of peanut butter as proof. None of us went to the doctor or hospital, because we just thought it was the flu or something. My question is, can we still get involved with the lawsuits against the company?

It's not as if there is any emotional attachment, sort of like using a girls body instead of your hand to masturbate!
