How long after someone gets the flu and is "feeling better" can someone visit them without risk of getting it themselves? How long is a good time to wait, even if they say they feel better?

stomach flu, or head flu? the stomach flu should only last one day, i would wait an extra day because once the flu virus leaves the body, it can live for about a day and can spread about 20 squar feet. the head flu is similar to the stomach flu, only with different side-affefcts. it asts maybe a couple of days, similar to colds. if i were you, i would wait 1 or 2 dats after coming in close contact. remember, it is HIGHLY contageous.!

They are the most contagious when they are NOT showing symptoms. After they have it, and are feeling better it is perfectly fine to visit them. You might be fine, especially if you had the flu shot.
