When I cough( from clearing my throat) or sneeze (from a boogie, lol) close to my boyfriend he always says like 5 minutes later now he will have a cough or sneeze because of my germs. When he says this I am not sick most of the time. However, he says this every time. He says everyday germs get people sick and I say sick germs make you sick. Please help the dispute!

Influenza Type A was diagnosed with nasal swab. I began taking Tamiflu just 6 hours after my fever started 6 days ago. My fever came to an end 4 days ago, I feel fine, but I still cough several times an hour. I hope to avoid giving it to my family, whom I am visiting today after a long journey.

I recently found out that the guy I'd been dating had hepatitus a when he was 8. I hadn't really panicked/been worried at the moment [we'd had sex without a condom a few times already cause i'm on the pill] before my mom [a nurse] told me it's and std and isn't curable- it stays with you all your life, and the way she said it it was like 'serious complications' tone. .

But I've tried looking it up online and it doesn't seem anything like what she said. And while she *is* a nurse [albeit for allergy and such] and smart, I'm thinking [or at least really hoping] she was misinformed. So I'd like to know- Is Hepatitus A really an std? is it serious? is it curable? do i need to worry, besides possibly getting a little sick?

There doesn't seem to be much information regarding adults and fevers, especially high fevers. There's sites which state different things, so I'm coming here to ask my 3 questions.

If an adult has a fever and it rapidly rises to 106 can they begin to experience convulsions/seizures?

Is it normal for a person with a temp of 106 to pass out and awake hours later not being able to remember anything?

Can a doctor legally make you stay in the hospital because there was difficulty getting the temp down and staying down?

I get hives when I get too warm is this normal? It started happening in 2003 right after I started getting the anthrax vaccine injections in the military. When my bath water is too warm I get hives all over my body. Or when I am exposed to the sun and get warm I get hives. I never had a problem with this before I got the vaccinations. But when I told one of the military Doctors about what was happening. They blew me off and said that it couldn't be caused from the Anthrax vaccine. Is it just my imagination? Or do I have some sort of illness? Please help!!!

On my right tonsil, there is a single round white cyst about the size of a button. There is redness around the cyst. Whenever I swallow, there is a pretty sharp pain from the cyst. My right lymph node is also slightly swollen. I don't really feel feverish, nauseous, or achy.

I have been taking two 500 mg capsules of ampicillin a day for the past 3 days, but the problem seems to stay the same. It doesn't really get worse, either. Should I try getting another medicine or should the ampicillin cure whatever the problem is?
