She has never been drink or got chronic hepatitis B and C. But She still has gone through everday with the signs and symptoms of cirrhosis — weight loss, fatigue, sleepless, abdoment pain. Everybody has any suggestion or any different medicine such as Herbal herbs and nutritional supplements , please tell us.

I woke up Sunday morning with a fever and body aches. I took Tylenol for the fever and pain. I also experienced cold-like symptoms and a mild sore throat. On Monday, I stayed home from school (I'm 14) and experienced the same symptoms with a more severe sore throat and the same high fever. I went to the doctor on Monday and I was prescribed Amoxicillin (first dose= the second of two daily doses on Monday) and a cough mixture (3 daily doeses). I experienced cold-like symptoms Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Since Sunday I have been taking throat lozenges. --

I was wondering when is it okay to go see the doctor when you have had multiple colds?

It has been over one month (almost 6 weeks) and I have been sick. For the first week I have fought off the flu after that I just keep on getting colds. Right when I feel like it is clearing up I get a cold again.

I had surgery in December. So maybe an infection? I have no clue. Though I think the symptoms would be worse.

I know going to the Doctor for a cold isn't what you are supposed to do. But I am at the point where the cold feels not so common anymore.

I started taking vitamins but I am still sick.

So when is it considered okay to see the Doctor? I am starting to clear up again. I am just tired of being sick.

News reports that around 1,200 germs can be found on a remote control. They evaded the question of whether or not people in households with more germs were sick more or not. I think not. I thought that they needed to be passed human to human in order to stay active. Imagine how many germs are on money and why isn't everyone sick all of the time then?

My sister (aged 21) has symptoms of viral meningitis; stiff neck, constant headache, sensitivity to light, tiredness, nausea and some vomiting, as well as a bout of tonsilitis.
The GP says that the above symptoms are all just as a cause of the severe tonsilitis. We're not happy with the doctor's opinion, but are quite isolated, and the doctor is the only doctor for about 25 miles, so going for a second opinion is not an option. She has been like this for 6+ days.
Please advise.
