It started as a late midnight round of vomiting-he threw up pretty much all day the next day, but stopped for almost 24 hours and then it started again at night-he was fine during the day, but sick in the evening- it is now 4 days later and he is still not well- could it just be the flu?

I heard somewhere that if a splinter enters your blood stream then it can lead to your heart and you can die. Is this true?

i feel like i'm about to get a common cold - the reason i say this is because i always feel this way just before it happens, i.e. a mild throat-ache etc...

anyway, i want to prevent it because i've got an exam coming up in 2 days and i don't want to go into it feeling sick. it has happened before and was rather unpleasant.

so does anyone have any tips as to how i can try and stop this from getting any worse?

thanks for your time

My wife was diagnosed with H-Pylori a couple of months ago, after have stomach pain which she described as "Gas Pain" over the last year. She finished her entire first round of 3 dose antibiotics and is on a 2nd round prescription after the doctor said the first one doesn't always work. The pain seems to be worse than before. Now I have been having similar symptoms, but haven't been to get tested. Is this really H-pylori and if so is H-pylori contagious?

Last few days I have had the sore throat, but I haven't been developing any other sort of symptoms. It has been waking me up due to it being sore, but other than that, nothing else.
