Is it possible to have it again, like a week later- even if I've been good to my body, and had the shot the first time for treatment???

Your resistance may be down, even though you mentioned that you have been good to your body. Maybe the germ never completely left your system a week ago.
Perhaps you ate something that didn't agree with you, and the symptoms feel the same.
Eat light, eat saltine crackers and drink 7-up to settle your stomach. That may help. I hope you feel better.

I went to the Dr. and they said that they are having repeat people coming back with the same thing, The flu is hitting hard this year and multiple times, Good luck drink lots of fluid and get lot's of rest. I never missed more than one sick day in 16 years and I just missed a week and a 1/2 because of the flu.

The news media tries to protect the restaurant industry by calling food poisoning a stomach virus. No virus manifests itself in your body to the point where it knocks you for a loop and then vanishes within a day or 2. Be more careful when eating out.

If you were exposed to the stomach flu virus again yes you can get it again.
