Many have answered but the answer is no, blood is carried through the eyes as well. I really dont think a person with aids could donate anything but like hair.

An AIDS patient can not donate anything.

The virus that causes AIDS has mutated into many strains, therefore donated body parts could not even be placed into another AIDS patient.

Who can donate eyes?

* Eye donors could be of any age group or sex.
* People who use spectacles-diabetics, patients with high blood pressure, asthma patients and those without communicable diseases can donate eyes.

Persons with AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, Rabies, Septicaemia, Acute leukemia (Blood cancer), Tetanus, Cholera, and infectious diseases like Meningitis and Encephalitis cannot donate eyes.

yes anjali they can donate their eyes,but to use it or not depends on the docters.and i dont think any body will be read to except such cornea people will get scared and refuse the transplantation.
