I'm tired all the time. My heart rate goes up for no reason; anytime, all day or not with pain that I can only describe as a vice grip around my heart (think The Frighteners w/ Michael J Fox). I've been to cardiologist that say it's caffeine, which I don't do much of (1/2 cup of decaf coffee every other day before a month ago and none for that last month). Doctors’ say I'm paranoid b/c I am so young, that I have nothing to worry about. My mother died of cardio-pulmonary hypertension when she was 21. I am 26. I do not think it’s that, Not even that my health in danger. I just want to know what it may be. They listen to my heart or run me on a treadmill and if I don't die; they say you're fine. This can't be normal. My blood pressure is always about the same, actually low for my size, but they say that is normal for me. This has been since I was 12, I am still pretty active. I drink lots of water, back then that was all I drank. My thyroid is fine according to tests.

My husband and I have been talking about having a baby for sometime now and we are really, really want to. However, I have tachycardia (a racing heart) and was wondering if anyone has heard of mothers who are giving birth have had complications or died from the rapid increase in heart rate.
We are going to speak with a doctor soon, but I was just wondering if anyone has had or known of any real life experiences.
So does anyone know if it is ok to have a baby when you have tachycardia?

I'm tired all the time. My heart rate goes up and down for no reason; anytime, continually or ever so often with pain that I can only describe as a vice grip around my heart. I've been to cardiologist that say it's caffeine, which I don't intake much of at all ( i.e. a half a cup of decaf coffee every other day before a month ago and none for that last month). I am looked at as being paranoid by doctors’ b/c I am so young, they feel that I have nothing to worry about. My mother died of cardio-pulmonary hypertension when she was 21. I am 26. I do not think that is it, I'm not even sure that my health in danger. I just want to know what it may be and no cardiologist will really even help. They listen to my heart and say its sounds fine or run me on a treadmill and if I don't die; they say you're fine. This can't be normal. Any help would be wonderful.

I was given 6 month's before my heart would fail but that was 3 years ago.I was placed on a donor's list for a heart in 03.I'm suffering with chest pain, palpitation's,swollen leg's and ankles. Shortness of breath and fatigue. Can't stand or sit for long periods of time.Fluid builds up around my heart and lung yet i was denied social security 2 times.I believe it was based on my age because I'm young.I got the Heart failure/Cardiomyopathy from giving birth, the strain of pushing severely damaged my left ventricle.I'm 30 and have 3 children and no one seems to care.I don't even want to go out.Now I'm seeing a therapist for my depression. My mother died suddenly when i was 9month's pregnant in 03 before I got diagnosed with heart failure.I gave birth a week after her funeral.I walked in on the doctor's were trying to revive her and have panic attacks when i see things that remind me of that day.I don't even want to go outside.I feel like the system doesn't help the one's who are truly sick.

I am slightly over weight, I am taking Cerazzette (POP)contraceptive pill and I am 24 years of age. I have just discovered that my heart seems to be missing a beat after every 20 or so beats, I am under some stress at the moment but didn't think it was really affecting me adversely until now. Any ideas?
