There are a lot of congenital heart defects that require surgery and once repaired they are just fine. I had a baby 3 years after having a congenital heart defect repaired. The marriage didn't work out but the kid is a keeper!

Of Course!! My daughter was born with 2 holes in her heart. She is currently 11 and playing on a soccer team. She rides her bike 2 miles to school each day. If she can do that I am certain that anyone who has gone through this can have a healthy happy "normal" life.
