I am not a medical professional ,so I will attempt to answer your question in layman's terms. You can get a medical explanation on the Internet or from a professional but sometime it hard to get a simple answer. It is when something happens to the blood vessels in or around the heart ether a blockage or rupture which causes damage. When a person has a problem
and they are already under stress. A niece none frightening term like "events"
hopefully will not add to their stress.

vascular events means, prior events in that patients vascular system, and medical history, could also mean a prelude to a stroke or a heat attack, like one may be expected.
