My husband’s heart has been hurting for some time now almost two weeks. (We all have told he to take his *** to the hospital) He just started taking Bayer and the first time he took them he took 12 of them all at one time. Crazy right! He told me he can feel it, what every that means. He smokes a pack a day. He’s 38 and drinks on top of that. The worst part is that he thinks it GAS. Please how can I get him to the Hospital before it’s to late?

Ok, my class checked our blood pressure in Health during school. I had mine taken like 7 times...we didn't know if it was right or not. My blood pressure averaged probably 145/78, and my high was 151/79. High blood pressure runs in my family, but I'm only 12. Later we went to Wal-Mart and used the machine there.

First time: 151/78
Second time: 148/76
Third time: 149/75

I don't know how long it's been like this, but I don't know if this is normal, since it should be around 120/80.

I want to go to the doctor, but we don't have any insurance right now, and won't be getting it for 3-6 months.

Is there any healthy way to lower one's blood pressure? Or should I even be worried?

Please help!

I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse. Does anyone else have this? Does this cause panic attacks? I have heard that. What other problems does it cause?

you should contact your doctor who tells you to stop. I am one of these people that got that rare side effect. What causes this rare but serious side effect. It was cramping and the pain from it would just make me stop moving basically. I am presently dieting eating very low fat diet and eating lots of beans in my diet. I want to know if I have a condition that makes my body prone to something that I should watch for. I get leg and back muscle cramps on the outside from time to time now. I only took that cholesterol med for 2 weeks.

My baby was born with a congenital heart defect. Aortic Insufficiency (at this point very mild) however his cardiologist does expect at some time in his life he will need a valve repair.. does this mean that he would not be thought to have the same life expectancy of someone who does not have a heart defect?

I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and find that my heart is just pounding. I don't feel anxious so I don't think it's anxiety. I also notice that it only happens on days when I'v had a glass of wine at dinner. I started noticing it around Christmas because we were drinking wine for a few nights in a row and then I just noticed it again this week, and realized that I had a glass of wine with dinner.

I have a very low tolerance for alcohol and can get tipsy on even one glass. Does this mean I am allergic to alcohol? Does this mean I could die of a heart attack if I drink? Why does it always happen late at night only? And only when I drink? I'm 38.

The reason I ask, is my friend has just had a heart bypass, and when he left hospital, the dietian gave my friend a list of what he could and couldn't eat.
Olives were at the top of the 'could not' list. When my friend asked why, he was told that olives were chock-full of calories.
Is this true?.
