My brother in law had one a little over yours. That is very high! Mine was 570 when they put me on Zocor. My brother in law has been taking Lipitor for 5 years, and is doing well now.

Yes, my brother who is well over a 1000, and on his second bypass at 58. Medication, exercise, and weight reduction usually help a lot. Also, take Lecithin and niacin if doctor says its OK. Niacin (500 mg inositol hexaniacinate) alone lowered my cholesterol/LDL 30 points to 165/85 respectively.

Your cholesterol is REALLLLLLY high. Make sure you start a routine exercise.
Other things that can help includes:
- Don't smoke cigarettes or use any tobacco product.
- Lose weight if you're overweight.
- Exercise regularly.
- Eat a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables and is low in fat.
- Limit your sodium, alcohol and caffeine intake.
- Try relaxation techniques or biofeedback.

YOU HAVE A VERY RARE DISEASE
A REAL DISEASE. FAMILIAL HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA
UNlike the FAKE " disease" of hypercholesterolemia
210 is a NORMAL cholesterol level
YOUR DISEASE IS EXTREMELY RARE
YOU COULD HAVE INFLAMATION IN YOUR ARTERIES. SO IN YOUR CASE STATINS MIGHT BE OF BENEFIT BECAUSE STATINS HAVE ANTI INFLAMATORY PROPERTIES
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU CONTACT DR UFFE RAVNSKOV AND ANTHONY COLPO ON HOW TO FIND A DOCTOR
