Yes the stent is for life. But annual follow up with a qualified cardiac specialist will be needed to see if the heart funcioning is ok with the stent or something more like an open heart surgery is needed. The normal life span of stent is 15 years after which it may need to be replaced.

They don't remove it like a pin for broken bones but may need another stent in the future or a bypass. Need stress tests to check on heart function and that will help tell whether stent is still good.

Stent replacement already tells you that it cannot be for life.
Depeneding on your colestrol levels and your food intake the stsent shall need replacement... Normally anywhere from 10 to 15 years is a good sent life before replacement. Nowadays with the new procedure it has become more simple to replace and regular annual checkups are a must.

Stent is a localised solution. It does not give any guarantee that further blockage will not occur. Why not go for some ayurvedic treatment which will clear the blockage and give you life time remedy. Try Rudved capsules.

Yes, it is for life. They cannot take them back out because the blood vessel lining grows over them.
