My mom was told one side of her neck is 100% blocked and the other side is partially blocked. I am very worried about her because she isn't emotionally or physically healthy and I doubt she could handle a surgery. What are her options? She is 62 years old.

I had a blackout and my MD was trying to find the problem. I also had an MRI that showed calcified placques on the brain. I otherwise feel ok other than some nausea and dizziness.

I have acid reflux disease (GERDS) and take medication for it sometimes I do have chest pain, high above my breast and pressure and soreness all the way thru to my back, my old Dr called it esophagel spasms, I also have severe anemia which can cause chest pain, shortness of breath and weakness, I'm not absorbing the iron because of my stomach. Now my question I have a new Dr and he wants me to have a Nuclear stress test for heart disease I'm terified of the radioactive dye and I'm sure I will fail the activity part due to the anemia, should I refuse the test? get a second opinion and get the anemia corrected first and then have the stress test. Serious opinions please or if you have had the stress test yourself.
Thanks

Yesterday, when I was sitting down on my chair and I was on the computer working on school things - My heart started to really heart. I put my hand on where my heart is and like when I pushed I felt a lot of pain and when I breathed it hurted too. I don't know how long the pain lasted , it lasted (i guess) for a little more than a couple of minutes.

A few days before I felt a little pain in my heart. And, just a few seconds ago i can barely feel pain but I felt something and it lasted for 1 second.

I dont' want to make this into a big deal when it's nothing, but I'm afraid something can be wrong - I don't think my heart would hurt for no reason.

My grandpa had a heart attack.
My dad says he didn't get to the hospital in time (he's in there now) so there's "permanent damage".
What would this entail?

the drug hydrocodone if taken for pain in your chest, after the dr has ruled out heart problems, would it pose any kind of a problem or reaction on your heart. the pain would be from something else, and not my heart.

Last Friday I went to my physician and had a blood draw for testing the level of a certain medicine. I arrived after the lab that picks up blood tests left. That means that my vial of blood will be sitting in the closed clinic till Mondays' pickup which is done daily. If anybody from a lab answers, my question is, will my sample of unrefridgerated or unfrozen blood be testable or if it was refridgerated will it still be good for testing? What would be the proper procedure for a situation such as this?
