the drug hydrocodone if taken for pain in your chest, after the dr has ruled out heart problems, would it pose any kind of a problem or reaction on your heart. the pain would be from something else, and not my heart.

Well it seems like the doctor don't know what's really going on. Cuz Hydrocodone is for pain. Also no,it want do nothing if u do have a heart condition. Unless u really don't have a heart condition. I don't see why he would give u that if u are really suffering from a heart condition

Please clairify...The answer to your original question is no, but if if was an actual heart attack hydrocodone won't help.
If the Dr ruled it out heart attack with an EKG then believes its costochrondritis hydrocodone shouldn't hurt.
