The correct spelling of a heart disease tettadogy of the fallo? Does any one know the correct spelling

TETRALOGY OF FALLOT is a cyanotic congenital heart disease consisting of 4 underlying anomalies

1. large ventricular septal defect
2. Overriding of the aorta
3.Pulmonary artery stenosis or atresia.
4. Right ventricular hypertrophy.

The baby is born with disease i.e. appears blue in colour , due to the poor oxygenation of the blood.

Cardiac Surgical correction is the only treatment available.

tetralogy of fallot or TOF.Could turn into congestive heart failure in children they are born with it.Without getting too medical on you. It's a cyanotic heart defect(they turn blue)because of a defect with the pulmonary(lung)blood flow.Treatment is surgery to redirect the blood flow.
