An ECG with an arrhythmia is really of no concern for a child, in fact, it really is pretty common in the general population. As for angina, a condition typically brought about by arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries of the heart (coronary) resulting in plaques and narrowing which in turn results in a decreased blood flow to the cardiac muscle....this causes a oxygen deprivation of the myocardium (anaerobic) which results in a tightening and pain in the heart area of the chest) ....where was I?....hmmm.....as you can see, from my basic explanation, the process that brings about angina typically takes years and years (hence why it is the elderly who have the nitroglycerin spray/tablets)....

All the same, it is possible (RARE) for a child to have a congenital defect that could cause "angina-like" symptoms....Best to see a Dr. and arrange for a 2-D echocardiogram which will clearly show the cardiac circulatory conditions....

All the best!

Yes, they can. Angina is the sensation felt when a sufficient supply of blood to the heart muscle itself is blocked. Further testing will reveal the cause and from that, a prognosis.

Good luck

No. Kids can't get that. You sure its not Acid reflux. Cause it hurts in the center of the chest as well. It hurts real bad. I suffer from it. I have a lot of symptoms along with it. What ever u do,if u do decide to give him/her something for Acid reflux. Make sure its not baking soda, because u really don't know what it is.If it is the heart and u give baking soda it can bring on a heart attack so,please don't give them baking soda. Also Acid reflux can cause irregular heart beat along with palpitations.
