The term "minor hypokinesia of the anterior wall" means that the front part of the heart is moving a bit less than it normally does during the heart beat. The left side of the heart is responsible for pumping blood to the rest of the body. The entire heart (anterior wall=front, posterior wall=back, septal=between left and right) contracts during pumping resulting in wall motion. Hypokinesia means decreased movement during contraction. This finding may indicate that there has been some damage to this region of the heart (for example from a heart attack or "myocardial infarct"). The anterior wall is supplied by a specific artery, the left anterior descending. Minor hypokinesia may not be a big problem, but a physician may want to pursue looking at the arteries of the heart by using tests to see if there are any blockages of these blood vessels.

Hypo means below normal.
Hypokinesia means abnormally diminished motor function or activity.
Anterior wall means front surface of the heart.
The remarks show that there is abnormally diminished motor activity in the front surface wall of the heart due to a minor block or occlusion of the left anterior descending artery (LAD). Blood clot may cause death of cardiac tissue. Hence the pumping of the heart will be affected.

GREAT game last night. Absolutely jaw dropping at times, (like when I turned the match on at 3/4 time and the crows were in front) I picked the pies but secretly was hoping Crows would win. To answer your question sweet F A. Stats say it's bad. I would rather come 2nd or 3rd on the ladder at seasons end and bring home a shiny big cup a month later on that wonderful day in sept. Collingwood you can have the minor premiership because us Saints had it last year and it did us no good.This year we are bringing home the Premiership and I hope We smash the pies doing it. Having said that I still believe it's a rematch of 2009 with new Victors .
