Does that mean the person who gets the blood will have it too? I know that they check for these things, but just pretend the tests didn't work that time or something.
Thanks.

I am diabetic and have been drinking sugar free Rockstar this last week. I have noticed that my blood sugars have been fantastic and wonder if anyone can tell me if this is okay for me or should I be worried.

My family is dealing with a person who fits this description to a tee!! My question is, can a person with MSBP bring on the onset of juvenile diabetes?? The child I am referring to seems to ALWAYS have some minor/major problem (along with the sibling) while in her care, but are always fine away from her. These children are always in and out of doctors offices, therapists, etc.. When this MSBP lady does not like the outcome or if the therapist, doc, etc.. does not agree with her she drops that person immediately saying they are not fit to practice! It turns out that this child had been wetting the bed (supposedly) all the time so the mother dramatically rushed this child to the doctors w/o consulting the childs father who is very involved. Turns out the child was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This was 4 years ago. The child always seems to have either severe lows with mother or severe highs and both children are sick with stomach flu w/ her at least once per month. Any thoughts

For those of you that have Diabetes or know someone that does, do these sound like symptoms I should get checked out? For the three months or so I've been really really thirsty, to the point where I drink like 2.5 litres of water or so a day and still it doesn't take the edge of the dehydration feeling.

I am constantly in the bathroom, like I can go and then twenty minutes later I need to pee again and this goes on for a good part throughout the day (know it isn't a UTI because I've had them numerous times now and know what that is like) and then I am just so rundown to the point where I am tired even when I wake up of a morning (maybe because have to go to the bathroom at least once a night, don't know).

It is just getting worse and I find I am not able to concentrate of a day at work and by the time it hits like 12.00pm, I am so exhausted I find it hard to just stay awake. Not much fun :o/ Does this sound like it could be diabetes? Thanks guys.

My mom had a call back today from the doc asking to see her as her gluclose level is high what does this mean? she has suffered high blood pressure for years and is on medication. She is over weight but at the same time quite active and eats healthy and the fact she is overweight is quite odd.She wasnt told the actual result was just told its high she got an appointment tuesday. Is it linked to the blood pressure or could it be diabetes. And is it likely to mean more medication for her. Thanks

My best friend is a diabetic. For months now, he has non-stop diarahrea...the doctors have told him to take all this pepto & metacuill...so he will bulk up...not when u have non-stop, 24/7 runs.
His stomach is shrinking due to the fact he is not able to eat. My question is : if his stomach is this messed up...what else can this problem be causing & why do they keep telling him to take all this metacuil?? sure, that will make him go ...but non-stop??

Hello, I am 28 weeks pregnant and suspect I am developing gestational diabetes. I have seen my doctor who dismissed me so I decided to take matter into my own hands.
I bought a glucose meter and did a 50g 1 hour glucose test this afternoon. I had been eating and drinking normally before performing the test.
The result I obtained on the glucose meter was 11.9 which is 214.
Is this result ok? I am worried cos I dont feel well after eating my dinner and have a high bmi.
Please help out someone.
