I am disabled and am waiting to receive my disability check but my court day isn't until September.I applied for food stamps but it will be next month before I receive them My bills were paid for this month but I have no food.I have diabetes and have to eat and I have a seven year old child.Please don't be sarcastic. if i dont eat a meal , i get really shakey, and if i eat too much shugar. my feet get hot and feel like needle pricking them, and these are all symptoms of diabetes, and it runs in my moms side of the family.

I have adressed him directly about it but he is somewhat in denial that it is a problem. he often eats very sugary foods and rarely exercises. he is willing to try anything but not to do anything that requieres a lot of commitment. I need small things that are easy to do, please help

you know the ones those handheld devices, that you have to use a lancet that punctures the skin then you put blood on the strip then you put it in the device.

If you can find out if you have diabetes or not, what is number do you have to be below
(My father gave me this to test myself, and he said you dont have to go to the hospital and do it, he said you can do it by myself)

I have been suffering from Blood pressure and for that reason having Atenolol. Now I am caught by Diabetes. When I go for measurement of blood sugar level I get high level of sugar in my blood. Does ATENOLOL has effect on Sugar measurement of blood?

cortisone raises blood sugars and mine have been in the 300's all week. I got the shot on Monday, july 9th and it is now the 12th.

i can bring it down with extra insulin, but it raises itself again in a few hours.

Any idea how long this will last?

my husband has 134 fasting blood sugar level last friday (july 13) and 145 (fasting sugar level) tuesday (july 17). this is the first time that he has been on this level. 3 months before he was 123 (fasting) and he has not been eating so much except maybe fruits (banana apple and strawberry) but not really much. i'm worried, he's 41 y.o. thanks :)

Hi,
Is there a way to measure blood glucose level at home? I mean does some handy, small and affordable equipment comes, using which I could keep track of my glucose level, as I suspect not being regular with my glucose level as a result of not proper meals.
