No, there is no link yet to any long term neural disorders.
The response that it hasn't been around long enough yet is correct.
The response that it can cause death is incorrect.
There are only three known cases where Ecstasy was related to death. In two of those cases, the victim was an older man, dancing with young girls at a rave where alcohol, cocaine and dehydration were part of the equation.
You must remember that nearly everything you hear, read, or see in the media has a political agenda behind it. That is especially true of anything that is as profitable as drugs.
Your government makes, distributes and sells recreational drugs to finance covert operations. They keep it illegal so they can control the flow and the cash.
The reason we are seeing more propaganda about this relatively benign drug it because the government hasn't figured out how to profit from it. They already have great sources for Pot and Coke and Heroin. But "X" represents a disruption in their cash trade. It is relatively easy to make, and doesn't require state-sponsored criminal distribution networks. As such, it cut in on the Fed's territory.
I am not saying drugs are all good. I am not promoting drug use or condoning illegal activities.
It is just a matter of fact that what you hear about all drugs from the people who simultaneously make it illegal and sell it, must be tainted.
Look at the "anti X" add campaigns. See how much they cost. See who sponsors them. Look for yourself. Use your own mind.
Read the articles. Verify sources and facts, See how much of it is repeated propaganda... not original reporting.
Just as the "Reefer Madness" movie is a pack of lies, ALL government reporting on drugs is propaganda.
This recent wave of anti X BS is the same thing, ...lies upon fear-mongering lies.

I have no personal comment on this not being a partaker but thought you might find this interesting (see sight below). A guy in the UK who already has the frozen variety of Parkinson's Disease reckons it helps him unfreeze??? It has long been considered to contribute to Parkinson's!
The only thing I've heard about ecstasy is that it can cause a drop in serotonin which could affect your mood and cause depression... why would you want to mess with your brain if there's nothing wrong with it ...as they say in the classics "you've only got one brain" (c;

ecstasy hasn't been around long enough to firmly say its a factor for causing Parkinson's or other long term diseases. It is defiantly very toxic as it breaks down in your brain, which can have a lot of consequences.
