Fasting blood sugar should be between 80 and 120. If you test high, you should go see a doctor to make sure.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Depends on a few things. First, it needs to meet the definition
Any random glucose greater than 240mg/dL and symptoms
2 fasting glucoses greater than 126mg/dL
The definitions are specifically about veinous (like a lab draw) blood, which runs slightly different from capillary blood (finger stick). Also, realize that the glucometers can be somewhat inaccurate, up to 5-10%, with less accuracy at the extremes of glucose (meaning the closer to normal the glucose, the more accurate the reading).

Example: When I was diagnosed, I had the classic symptoms of thirst, fatigue, and decreased appetite. My sugar on a regular glucometer was 500. It wasn't fasting, so it was random. That qualified me for the diagnosis.

The current blood sugar criteria for diabetes mellitus are:
1) Any blood glucose value over 200 mg/dL, OR
2) Two fasting blood glucose values over 125 mg/dL

There are also glucose tolerance tests that some doctors prefer to use. In general, if your fasting (8 hours without eating) glucose is 100 or above, you're at risk for diabetes.

Diabetes is a complicated disease that has more manifestations than blood sugar. If you're concerned, you should see your general practitioner who can more thoroughly evaluate and examine you.

No you can not see if you have diabetes just using a blood sugar meter .the blood sugar meters are for a diabetic to keep track of blood sugar levels
To find out if you are diabetic you must have a blood test done in a lab if it is high then you have to have another to see if it is high again if it is then you are diagnosed diabetic then you use the meter to manage your self to keep blood glucose at app these levels

Blood glucose
Fasting blood glucose:
70–99 milligrams per deciliter or less than 5.5 mmol/L

2 hours after eating (postprandial):
70–145 mg/dL (less than 7.9 mmol/L)

Random (casual):
70–125 mg/dL (less than 7.0 mmol/L)

Yes, you can but you must do it a couple of hours after you eat or before or your reading will likely be high..For a diebetic anything over 140 is high if not your blood sugar should run 120 or lower perferably under 100 is best.......If you have any diebetes in your family you should be especially careful and watch what you eat and keep an eye on your blood sugar...Good Luck!

I am a diabetic but i do know that a non diabetic should not test 140 or more if you are testing 140 or more what ever time of day it is then you should make an apt. to be seen

If your blood sugar level is 200 mg/dl or higher it could mean you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Also if you have other symptoms of diabetes, such as increased thrist or hunger, fatigue, frequent urination, weight loss, or blurred vision.
Another thing to watch out for is if your sugar level is 250mg/dl or higher, you need to check your urine for ketones.
But most importantly, if you do have a high blood sugar level, you should contact your doctor so he can confirm if you do or not.
