It is possible that you do. I would have the doctor run some blood tests and see about it. I would also change your eating habits that can control your blood sugar. It you do have diabetes, it is probably type 2 because type 1 occurs in childhood. My grandparents have type 2 diabetes and they don't really take care of it very good. Usually if your blood sugar or glucose is too high there is a strong possibility you could have it. But seriously go to the doctor for tests!

Go get your blood sugar tested, both glucose and A1c, which will tell short term and three month levels. My husband was
diagnosed with diabetes in March. He has dropped his blood sugar through exercise and changing his diet. He uses www.calorieking.com to figure how much he should eat. He eats a low carb diet. He has worked up to jogging a mile plus every day. He tests his glucose before eating.

You could get a home blood glucose meter. Then you'd know exactly what was going on and learn to deal with it.

Most adult on-set diabetes is type II, which means that your cells are not responding to insulin properly. Exercise, adding supplements like chromium and cutting out sugars and refined carbohydrates can prevent or control diabetes in many, if not most, people.

What you describe sounds more like low blood sugar, which leads, over time, to high blood sugar which is diabetes.

Yes, you could have diabetes because it can hit at any age. Go to the doctor and have him/her send you to a lab to be tested. It will only take one tube of blood unless your doctor was to check for other things at the same time.

Been there. Done that!

Diabetes or not, something's definitely wrong, and worth seeing a doctor about. It could be something easily controlled by medication and diet. Find out soon.

That doen't sound like fun. Go to the doctors. They will probably give you a urine test to see. If the urine has too much sugar content, then you have diabetes.

If it runs in the family, chances are yes. But you should see a doctor and have him run the standard tests before you assume.

Please get a checkup. This is a serious question and one you don't want to fool around with. Diabetes, as you probably know, can lead to all sorts of awful things, including death if it is not controlled. I'm worried about you. Good luck!

if you don't have it, you will. Suggest you see a nutritionist to learn how to fend off onset of the disease if you haven't developed it yet. Or to learn how to control your sugars if you have. See a doctor and get an A1C blood test to find out if indeed you have it.
