I will see the doctor tomorrow, but what can i do to temporarily better? And is there a minimum number of days that the reaction gets worse, then it gets better? (cause last two times i saw the allergy specialist...when prescribing me medication hes like "it will get worse for a day or two...then the pills will start kicking in")im just wondering why its like that. thanks

I get hives whenever I eat strawberries. I don't like the flavor of strawberry but we don't always get what we want. Anyways, would eating a product (such a pudding or cereal) with dried strawberries or strawberry bits that are natural and not artifical, still give me hives?

And, would things such as lollipops and stuff with artifical strawberry still give me hives (not including cases where I am allergic to the ingredients)?

Thanks, Everybody, Including People who tried to help but didn't do a thing!

Claritin makes me angry and irritable, also feeling "speedy." Have not tried Allegra, don't like Singulair's side effects. Have a combination of severe asthma and allergies. Thanks!

I was wondering if it was possible to be allergic to apples but not applesauce because if I eat even a little bit of an apple I have what seems like an allergic reaction. (symptoms of an allergic reaction) I have had this problem since I was young but I've never had any problem with applesauce. Is it possible or is there another explanation?

OK, Well, I am swollen on my upper neck/head, I don't have a fever, I always feel tired, even when I take benadryl or Motrin, The swelling doesnn't go down, I did try something new on Monday, a wierd sandwhich my sister made me, the only thing I haven't had that was in that sandwhich was paprika. Do you think I am allergic to paprika? Or is it something else? Please help me!

She's been on soy for over four and half months now and never had any problems. Recently she has developed a persistent diaper rash. The doc said might be bacterial so we tried bacterial cream, yeast cream. Didn't do much. A week later I noticed she had a very subtle rash that looked like prickly heat (almost not noticeable) flat, no texture. Then she came down with a stomach flu, and my husband was also sick a couple of days later (we're not sure if he had food poisoning from sushi though) no one else has been sick. Now the diaper rash is really bad becasue she has had bad poops. She is still recovering from the stomach thing no more throwing up but not eating as much. The doc seems to think the rash is viral and has been treating syptoms as though they are separate...I'm starting to wonder if she has developed an allergy to soy?
