It has been proven that all home or non-home birds and animals are severely allergogenic which is due to protein nature of their hair, skin and feces. Becuase principally it is a rule in medicine that high molecular weight proteins are highly allergic. Of course, in this way, the allergy appearance requires that the person has had a genetic background of allergy so that allergy become manifested in her or him as a condition. I personally has not allergy to cat, despite that my mother did, and developed asthma. but i have allergy to some birds like pigeon. Developing allergy to certain animal is an individual susceptibility, however, it shall be remembered that all allergies can be aggravated by close relationship with every animal or birds.
