Allergies

I am 22 and have had nasal congestion as far as I can remember. It causes me difficulty all the time including not being able to speak properly with blocked passages. Has anyone experienced this if so are there any permanent treatments out there instead of using nasal sprays or saline products. any help or advce would be really appreciated.

I am 24 years old. The whites of my eyes have always been flawlessly white, but recently the red veins are starting to show very obviously. I don’t know what could be causing it and I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?

I'm allergic to artificial sweeteners and I am trying to figure out all of the names used for these sweeteners since I continue to have allergic reactions and having to use my epi-pen for them. I'm reading labels, but if I don't know all the names how am I supposed to stay away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen the doctor and they gave me antibiotics but I am not sure what is causing my outbreaks.
They keep reoccurring! I get large pimple outbreaks on my hands, arms, knees and on the bottom of my feet. My face becomes red and blotchy. I can feel it coming on first with a hot flash and then my hands start to itch followed by the other outbreaks

OK,.so some of you may remember my question about not feeling so well. This is a follow up...

I saw a psychiatrist, who told me to get a blood test, which revealed I have a level 6 allergy to dust and a level 3 allergy to grass.

My doctor says that this can cause people to feel congested in their head and feel bad, so I have high hopes of feeling better with pills and nose spray he gave me.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm this to me from their own experience? Would be greatly appreciated.

That they could then drive around for an hour to an hour and a half before things start to take affect? A friend is telling me they tried to commit suicide, but this friend has been known to make up stories in the past. Should I be worried?

Hi,
Few Months ago, maybe 4-5 ,I became sick during the summer
season and because I have pollen allergy my nose became really staffy
and I couldn't breathe properly. So I went to a pharmacy and got
OTRIVIN (Xylometazoline Hydrochloride).
It helped a lot and I had no problems. I was taking it for three
days.
But after 3 days left I had to take it again to clear my nose.
I thought that this was still because of the pollen allergy and I
thought that once the season is gone I'll be ok and I will get rid of
Otrivin.
Two months left and I there was no one single day I wasn't taking it.
Now, believe or not it's 4-5 Months I am taking it every day.
I can't get off of it.
I tried many times, but if I do not take it at least once a day, I get
nose completely block to the point that I can't breathe by it even if
I take all my effort. Than if I wont take it, it gives me headaches, and nasul congestion. Pls help me out.....

I have a female friend and her nose is very loud. Like when she closes her month her nose makes an annoying hissing sound... Like her nostrils are too small to breathe through or something... actually they are, but its soo annoying. Should I say something?

I have started 9 new meds for headaches, Bipolar, &UTI within the last week. I started1 on Sat and 2 hrs later I started itching non stop. Well I went to the ER last night because I itched for over 5 hours straight and they told me it was because of the antibotic(Spectra). I stopped the meds and it has been over 24 hours and i still cant stop itching. Well, tonight when I took my nightly meds, 2 hours later I started itching non stop. I called dr. they told me I was fine because I was breathing(exact words, and I have never talked to this on call dr.) but I am breaking skin because it is soooo bad... When I run water it makes it burn and itch. Med list: I just stopped adderall on Thursday cuz caused high Blood pressure, and I stopped ZOLOFT. I am on Topamax, Lamictal, Macrobid, Focalin, Aterex,( I cant remember), Presidone, Vicodin7.5 My med list is down stairs, but I need help I cant stop itching. Could it be something else beside antibotic. I am also swollen, figgity, tremors,n more

hmm so its spring time again and its that time of the year when my nose gets plugged badly. now thats not the issue..its sleeping with a plugged nose. i breathe through my mouth and i wake up eve3ry 2 hours because my WHOLE mouth has gone dry and i have to remoisten it and turn over and sleep (the taste is horrible) and quite frasnkly im tired of that so and solutions?

My 2 year old niece has milk allergies. Not lactose intolerance, but milk allergies. She is flat out allergic to ANY dairy. Also she is allergic to Wheat & cannot have anything containing glucose in it either. Does anybody have any recipes for Soy bread or rice or potato bread that doesn't also call for regular flour? Not nessecary, but an ebook I can email to my sister in law would be easier. She hardly has anything she can feed the poor kid and as of right now until we can find a recipe the poor kid can't eat pasta or breads. Please help!

Every time i need red onion get a headache, why? I know lots of other people that suffer the same from eating red onion. i dont get a headache from eating a normal white onion. so why is it? is a chemical or something in the red onion that makes me get a headache? i dont get a headache from eating any other food and am not allergic as far as i know.

because i think i am. i don't drink often nor do i drink heavily but even after one or two budweisers i would wake up in the morning with a slight hangover and uncomfortable sinus. I also had a minor nose bleed but that may have been cold related.

Hi, recently I have been having some strange symptoms after eating some foods. The first time was at Christmas when I ate some macademia nuts, a few minutes later I got a tingling/burning sesation in my mouth and throat which went away after about half and hour. 2nd time I had some muesli, which did not contain macademia nuts and had the same feeling. 3rd time was last night, I had a curry from an indian restaurant which contained coconut, but no other nuts as far as I am aware and I had the same symptoms, only worse my tongue seemed to swell up and go numbish, hard to exlain. Also felt really strange and lightheaded, starting to get paranoid now?? Does anyone know if this could be a nut allergy and will it get worse?
